Located in the heart of the Walt Disney World® Resort, the award-winning Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin has been selected to host the 2010 AAHFN 6th Annual Meeting.

The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin is situated in between Epcot® and Disney's Hollywood Studios™ and close to Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park and Magic Kingdom® Park. In addition to its great located, the hotel offers newly redesigned guest rooms, 17 spectacular restaurants and lounges, five pools, a white sand beach, two health clubs, tennis, nearby golf and many special Disney benefits, including complimentary transportation to all Walt Disney World® Theme Parks and Attractions, and exclusive Extra Magic Hours in the theme parks.

Transportation

Walt Disney World provides complimentary, scheduled transportation from the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin (Annual Meeting hotel) throughout the Walt Disney World® Report. Buses depart from the front entrance of the Swan wing and the Dolphin wing to the Parks every 15-20 minutes. Water taxis are also available to take guests to Disney’s Boardwalk, Disney’s Hollywood Studios™, and Epcot® every every 15-20 minutes, starting 1 hour before the parks open. You will be able to board the water taxi from the boat dock located by the covered walkway between the Swan and Dolphin wings.

Housing Reservations

A special block of rooms has been secured for AAHFN meeting attendees at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin at the discounted group rate of $189 for a single or double occupancy room.Rates are per night and do not include taxes, gratuity, or the mandatory resort service package fee. Reservations must be made by June 3, 2010.The group rate is available 3 days before and after the conference, subject to availability of rooms at the time of reservation.

Housing accommodations and meeting rooms will be in the DOLPHIN BUILDING. The reservation system, both online and phone, are automatically programmed for the Dolphin building.

2. Phone: Attendees can reach the Hotel Reservation Department at 407-934-4000 (International guests use 1-407-934-4000). Be sure to mention that you are attending the American Association of Heart Failure Nurses (AAHFN) 2010 Annual Meeting to take advantage of the discounted group rate.

Mandatory Resort Service Package: $10 Per Day

The resort service package includes: unlimited in-room high speed Internet access, up to 60 minutes of free local, toll free and credit card access calls (10 cents a minute thereafter), 20 minutes of domestic long distance calls per day, 2 bottles of water daily, and unlimited access to the resort's health club facilities. This excludes all resort and sales taxes. The current tax percentage is 6.5%.
